One thing I forgot to mention is that it helps if you heat the doll up. At the wearhouse we use a roaster. We put the legs and arms in there to heat them up at a low temp. It helps the vinyl soften so you can get the cups in and out.

My pleasure, everyone. And yes, Sandra, I do own a U.S. Dog -- she's the black lab. I must say, I vastly prefer the Poseable Pets that My Twinn used to sell. I've been thinking of sending U.S. Dogs an email asking them to buy out the pets part of My Twinn.

Thanks, Taffy - what a great article! I don't know if I would ever have the courage to restring a doll, but at least I will know what to do if I need to. Maria, thanks for your article on doll hair, and for making your site a resource.
